Delandus J. Pruitt, 28, was born December 30, 1993, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at his residence.
He attended Riverwood High School in Atlanta, Georgia where he played football. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Erma Choice; grandmothers, Eva Birdsong, Mary Petty, and Malvenia “Jean” Pruitt; and many close relatives.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, parents, Antonio Robbins and Angela Pruitt; father Tracy Vick; brothers, Rico Pruitt, Michael Williams, Dominque Vick, and London Robbins; sisters, Anquane Robbins, Alicia Robbins, Sarkeija Vick, and Aleigra Vick; nieces Natalia and Milana; nephew, Quincy; grandfathers, Jimmy Bush, Sr, Anthony Robbins, and Patrick Vick; fiancé Andrika McConnell, auntie/grandmother Janis Cottrell and a host loving uncles; aunts; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Delandus will lie in state on Monday, June 27, 2022, from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will follow immediately at 2 pm, in the chapel of John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995, with Minister Duan L. Bush, Sr. as the eulogist.
