David M. Wilson, 58, passed away on April 24, 2022, in Chattanooga. He was a graduate of Howard High School. He was employed by the Salvation Army Community Center as Director for 12 years. He also served as American Display and Fixture lead person for 15 years.

He was of the Baptist faith. He confessed Christ at an early age and loved the Lord.

David was a very passionate person. He helped many people. He had a quiet spirit and loved his family. He loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends in the Eastlake area. His grandchildren were his world.

David was preceded in death by his father, Paul Wilson; mothers, Dorothy Miller; and Bertha Lee Grayson; sisters Judy Williams and Madeline Williams; grandparents, Matt and Bertha Wilson.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory, wife, Tawana Wilson; son, Cornelius (Vanita) Appleberry; granddaughter, Cyriah Appleberry; grandson, Cason Appleberry; seven brothers. Dwayne (Cynthia) Miller, Dwight (Dianne) Miller, Terry Wilson, Roderick (Renee) Wilson, Joe Williams, Joel (Julie) Williams, Jeffrey Williams; two sisters, Wanda Williams, and Deborah Williams; sisters-in-law, Solita (Rodney) Finley, Shawana (Eric deceased) Locklin; brother-in-law, Kevin James; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Public viewing will be held 2:00 pm - 6:00pm Friday, May 6, 2022 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, May 7, 2022 in the funeral home chapel. Interment: Highland Memorial Gardens.
