Obituary for Christine Turner
Christine Turner, 91, passed away Sunday March 20, 2022, in Chattanooga. She was born to Nathaniel and Pearl Lee Jones. She was a resident of the Alton Park community her entire life. She retired from Don’s Produce. She was a member of Thankful Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.T. Turner; daughters, Marie Jones and Kay McCauley; sons, David Lee Jones, Sr. and Clarence Turner; grandsons, Deoaunte Dean and Jerrell Morris.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one surviving sister, Lucille Floyd; granddaughters, Marchetta Jones and Nakibra Turner, Shunna Jones, LaQuenta (Quincy) Jones; grandsons, Marcus McCauley, Roderick McCauley, Kevin McCauley, Adarius Garth, Darryl Anderson, and David Lee Jones, Jr.; 10 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends.
A public viewing will be held 9 AM to 3 PM Thursday, April 7, 2022, followed by a 3:00 PM chapel service at the funeral home.
