Mr. Cavegeo D. Strickland, 46, was born May 25, 1974. He passed away on December 22, 2020. Cavegeo was a graduate of Central High School. He was saved at an early age while attending Mount Canaan Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Shamerria Sturdivant; grandparents, Willie David Strickland, and Elouise Bryant; aunt, Rita Byrd; uncle, Timothy Bryant.

He is survived by his parents, Terrence and Lizzie King and David (Elana) Strickland; grandparents, Mrs. Rosie Mae Hall, and Mrs. Betty King; two daughters, Cavegeauna and Miracle Strickland; one son, Lumiere Strickland, all of Chattanooga; sister, Mrs. Shyreeta Robinson, Milwaukee, WI; brother, Terray (Keisha) King, Cleveland, TN; uncles, William (Erin) Hall, Oak Ridge, TN, Walter (Martha) Hemphill, Jacksonville, FL, Kenneth (Caryl) King, Orlando, FL; aunts, Beverly (John) Clay, Jackie (Carl) Crutcher, all of Chattanooga, Fredia Strickland, California; nephew, Omar Kyle, Atlanta, GA; very special aunts, Gertrude (Allen) Green, Shirley Hall, and Ernestine Montgomery, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

Public viewing will be held from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM, Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the funeral home. A private funeral service will be held. Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery.
