Carla Lynn Hall, “Kazh,” was born on November 5, 1972, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and passed at the age of 50 on April 26, 2023, in Riverdale, Georgia. Carla relocated to Georgia in 2010 where she resided for nearly 14 years. Carla attended Kirkman High School and spent her final days studying to obtain her Real Estate License. She was a faithful Christian and served as a devoted member at Saint Phillip African Methodist Episcopal Church.
To know Carla was to love Carla. She had an electric personality and a heart of gold. She was so selfless to all those around her, and always used her resources to provide a safe refuge to all her beloved friends and family whenever necessary. She was the life of every party. Her presence will truly be missed.
Carla is accompanied on her transition to everlasting life by her mother, Remonia Hall; father, Halbert Varnell; grandmother, Frances Hall; brother, Brian Hall; grandson, Darrell DeWain Bridges III; uncles, Willie Lee Hall Jr. and Ronald Gwyn; aunt, Willadean Hall; nephews, D’Marcus Hall and Jeffery Hall Jr.; and cousins, Tabitha Hall and Jasmine Chalk.
Survivors include her children: Ashleih Hall, Darrell Bridges Jr., Donnie Ware Jr., and Ashjah Hall; her grandmother, Nadine Varnell; grandchildren, M’yeal Mayes, Darr’liyah King, and Kyra Hall; siblings, Jimmy and Jeffrey Hall; aunts, Ilona Hall, Toni McClendon, Jacqueline Ridley, and Sarah Hall; uncle, Jimmy Hall, along with a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Public viewing will be held 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at the Funeral Home.
A 12:00 PM Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023, in the chapel of John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue. 423-622-9995.
Interment will be Forest Hills Cemetery.
