Calvin Antonio Reed was born October 2, 1965, to Charlene and the late Calvin Reed. Calvin A. Reed was educated and raised in Marion and Hamilton County Tennessee.

Calvin learned to finish concrete at an early age. It became his passion. He enjoyed telling people “I started that building” or “I poured concrete for that company.” He also could do other handyman jobs around the house. You couldn’t miss that big smile he had.

Calvin was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Reed; wife, Faye Reed; grandparents, Herman and Pearl Bivins, of Whitwell, Tn and Clifton and Mary Ellen Reed; stepfather, Issiah Cherry; several aunts and uncles.

He will be eternally loved and missed by his mother, Charlene Cherry and his son, Demonta Bentley, Sr.; four grandchildren, Diamonique Le'Shai Bentley, Demonta Lebron Bentley, Jr, Isaiah Ca'lee Bentley, and Ian Carter Bentley; one great-grandchild, Ni' Shun Woods

Public viewing will be held 9:00 am – 2:00 pm Friday, October 21, 2022, followed by a 2:00 pm funeral service at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.

Interment: Highland Memorial Gardens.
