Brenda Joyce Taylor, 66, passed away August 22, 2022, at NHC of Chattanooga. She was born September 18, 1955, in Chattanooga, TN. She was a member of Olivet Baptist Church. Brenda received her education in the Chattanooga Public School System, where she graduated from Kirkman Technical High School in 1973. She was employed for 25 years as a CNA at Parkridge Medical Center, EKG Technician at Erlanger Medical Center for 18 years.
She is preceded in death by her father, Odell Taylor; mother, Nina Ashley Croom; left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Tammie Smith, Woodridge, VA, Sasha (Woodie) Sardin, Chattanooga; brothers; Larry (Martha) Taylor, Connecticut, Terry Taylor, Michael Ashley; sisters, Myra (James) Jones, Patricia (James) Woodruff, all of Chattanooga; 7 grandchildren; Tamiah, Destanee, Jayden, Cole, Woodie III, Ayayden, Kepola; nieces, Erica, Porsha, Crystal, Tenequa; nephews, Julius, Alabama, Anthony, Dominique, Jermaine, Shawn, all of Chattanooga; a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 12 noon– 2 pm Saturday, August 27, 2022, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423 -622-9995
A repast will be held from 4 pm - 7 pm at Harrison Rutian Club, 5709 Tyner Lane, Harrison, TN 37341
