Obituary for Bennie Caslin, Jr.
Bennie Lebron Caslin, 58, died at home on February 2, 2023.
2 Corinthians 5:8, KJV: We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Bennie was born on April 6, 1964, in Chattanooga, TN to his parents and was the heart of the family. He had a laugh that was contagious and a heart of gold.
He was known as “Pee-Wee” to family and friends and was a former cook here in Chattanooga.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie Caslin, Sr., and Freddie Pauline Bates.
Survivors include his siblings, Agnes Caslin (Cristal Holloway), Alisa Caslin, Victor Caslin (Caregiver), and Henry (Tracee) Caslin all of Chattanooga, TN. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 20, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023, at 1:00 PM at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995. Interment: Highland Memorial Gardens
