Obituary for Barbara Noland
Barbara Crosby Noland,78, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, February 20, 2021. She was born November 16, 1942 in Charleston, South Carolina, to Heyward and Mary Crosby.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Noland, and her beloved granddaughter, Stephanie McCormick.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Seamen; grandsons Christopher (Marvin) McCormick, and Harley Stringer; great-grandchildren, Harley Stringer Jr, Noah Stringer, and Paisley Stringer; her sister, Joan Crosby Head, and her brother, Derrell Crosby, as well as nieces and nephews. Barbara’s family also included many people that were not blood relatives but she truly loved them as though they were. She moved to Chattanooga over 50 years ago and was very active in her community,. She loved gardening, yard-sales, and having coffee at local cafes. She truly loved life and will be missed by all those that loved her.
Cremation is being handled by John P. Franklin Funeral Home, and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a future time, yet to be determined.
