Arthur Derrick, age 55, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Parkridge Medical Hospital surrounded by his family. Arthur was born December 6, 1966 in Chattanooga, TN to Arthur Waller and Mary Norman. Arthur was the eldest of five siblings, and was always known as the prankster of the family. He was the one who kept everyone on their toes. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andrew and Helen Derrick, Pope and Jylene Waller; father, Arthur Waller; stepfather, Paul Norman, Sr.; uncle, Lee Derrick; and loving soulmate, Sonya Tucker.

Arthur is survived by his mother, Mary (Derrick) Norman; siblings, Kimberly Derrick, Shonta Caldwell, Paul Norman, Jr., all of Chattanooga, TN, Paula Billings, of Memphis, TN, and Artez Waller, of Douglasville, GA; aunts, Stella Smith, Linda Derrick, Valerie Derrick, and Betty Elder, all of Chattanooga, TN; uncle, Andrew (Cathyleen) Derrick, of Rockwood, TN; close family friend, Meka Tucker; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.

Public viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 2:00 PM-6:00 PM, with the family receiving friends from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.

A 10:00 AM graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Highland Memorial Gardens.
