Obituary for Arthur Lee Cole
Arthur Lee Cole, 87, passed away, November 10, 2022, in Hooker, Georgia. He was born October 4, 1935, to Will Cole and Vinnie Jones Cole, in Hooker, Georgia. Arthur was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Hooker, GA.
He was previously employed with Holsum Bakery and retired from Eureka Foundry. Arthur also served at the Dade County Family and Children Services for forty years. He was foster parent of the year.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jackie Louise Cole.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, a devoted wife, Erma J. Cole, a host of sons, daughters, grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Ruth Simmons of Flintstone, GA, and Geraldine Cole of Chattanooga, TN; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family , and friends.
Public viewing will be held from 9:00 am-11:00 am, Wednesday, November 16, 2022, with the family receiving friends at 10:00 am until the hour of the service. An 11:00 am funeral service will follow in the chapel of John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.
