Anthony Lebron "Rickey" Ricks passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021, at his residence after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by loving and dedicated family members.
He graduated from Riverside High School, class of 1975. He served in the United States Army and the Army Reserve. He was employed by Wheland Foundry, Erlanger, and the Chattanooga Zoo. He was of the Baptist faith and loved by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by mother, Louise "Penny" Ricks; brothers, Norman Ricks and Johnnie Ricks; sister, Margaret H. Burt; nephew, Marlon Ricks.
He leaves to cherish his memory, father, Percy Lee Ricks, Sr.; brothers, Al-Kareem (Florence) Abdullah, George (Maria) Ricks Sr., David E. Ricks; sister, Regina (Micheal) Ricks Edward; niece, Francine Ricks Todd; children, Anthony Ford, Alexander Ricks, Rickey Ricks, Christopher Ricks,; four grandchildren, Jaylen, Keyon, Avery, Avair; special friends, Anthony Mack, Ivan O'Neal, Eve Newby, Rodney McGee, Larry Fuqua, Belinda, Dee Bailey, and the Riverside Class of 1975.

Public viewing will be held 9:00 am - 11:30 am Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at the funeral home, followed by a family funeral service at 11:30 am. Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery.
