Obituary for Anthony LeBron Edmondson
Anthony Lebron Edmondson, 68, passed away January 8, 2023, in Chattanooga. He was born on October 6, 1954, to Floyd and Erma Edmondson.
He attended Huron High School in Ann Arbor Michigan and California State University. Anthony served as a Captain for the US Army and as a 1st Lieutenant for the US Air Force.
Anthony was a member and an Elder and Charter Member for Word Empowerment Church. He was of the Christian faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Georgia Williams-Scaife and Sarah Poindexter; father-in-law, Robert Westfield Sr. and brother-in-law, Robert Westfield II.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 28 years, Gwendolyn Edmondson; daughters, Tonisha Edmondson- De la Cruz, of San Diego CA, Shenika Williams, of Atlanta GA, Cynequa Jones (Terrance Riley) and Latisha Sales, of Chattanooga; sister, Sheila Sims (McKinley Sims); brother, Johnny Green (Bertha) of East Point GA; grandchildren, Makayla, Antoine, Isaiah, Elijah, David, Addison, Avery, and Jaxson; a host of other family members and friends.
Public viewing will be held 9:00 am – 11:00 am Friday, January 20, 2023, in the funeral home chapel, followed by a 11:00 am funeral service. Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery.
