Obituary for Annie Mae Donahue

Annie Mae Norris Donahue, 70, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022. She was born November 21, 1951, in Chattanooga TN, to the late Charles E Norris Sr. and Alma C Norris.

Ann was the fourth of ten children. She graduated from Howard High School in the class of 1970. Ann retired from Erlanger Health System as a CNA after many years of service. Ann was a faithful member of the New Vernon Grove M B Church where she sang in the mass choir and served as vice-president of the Mission Society

Ann was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charles E Norris, Jr., and sister, Alma Jean Sales.

Ann is survived by her husband of 43 years, James L Donahue; two sons, Eric Lockett and Aaron (Samantha) Donahue; three beautiful granddaughters, Avianna, Aralyn, and Hazel Donahue; six sisters, Evelyn (George) Calhoun, Ruby Jenkins, Shirley Thompson, Sandra Copeland, Jacqueline Davis, and Angela Williams; four brothers, Robert Norris (Cheryl), Willie Norris, Donnie Maxwell, and Harold Williams; sister-in-law, Geraldine Donahue; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends .

A memorial Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 4:00 pm, in the chapel of John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.

Minister Charles Elliott will bring the eulogy, Pastor Danny Wesley (NVGMB Church) will be officiating.
