Obituary for Angela Canada
Angela D. Canada, 73, of Chattanooga, TN passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at NHC of Rossville. She was a 1966 graduate of Howard High School. Angela attended Grady Nursing School in Atlanta, GA. She retired after many years of being a medical assistant for Dr. Lonnie Boaz, MD, and later Family Health Services. She was a member of Saint Phillip Lutheran Church.
Ms. Canada was preceded in death by her father, Ira N.B. Davis, Sr.; mother. Martha Mae Davis. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her sons, Shelley L. (Cecilia King) King, Jr of Chattanooga, and Herman Canada, III of Jacksonville, NC; grandchildren, Richard Williamson, Lebanon, TN, Tatiana Canada, Jacksonville, NC, Ariana Canada, Jacksonville, NC; brothers, Ira N. B. Davis, Jr, Memphis, TN, Michael R Davis, and Alan B. Davis both of Chattanooga; special friends, Jessica Moore, Deartra Maxwell, Yvonne Beard, and Pastor Meredith (Janet) Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.
A memorial celebration of life will be held Monday, August 1, 2022, at 4:00 pm in the chapel of the John P Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 423-622-9995.
