Ms. Andrea “Faye” Lattimore Padgett was born on February 8, 1957 in Chattanooga Tennessee. She was the third of five children born to the late Sadye Lucille Lattimore Wilson. She departed this life on November 15, 2020 at CHI Memorial Hospital at the age of 63.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sallie B. McGhee; grandfather, Raymond N. Lattimore; mother, Sadye L. Wilson Lattimore; brothers, Charles Terry Lattimore & Geoffrey “Jeff” Bryant; aunts, Carolyne A. Lewis & Lois Jean Lattimore; and her daughter, Sadye K. Moss.
She gave her life to Christ as a youth and continued to follow the ways of the Lord throughout her life. She was a graduate of Edison High School in Stockton, California; she then went on to obtain her Associates Degree in Medical Billing from Chattanooga College. She was a former member of the Elks Armistice Temple #364 IBPOEW State Honors and held the position of “Youth Directress”. She was a former school bus driver for Hamilton County Schools, she also worked several years as a Medical Records Clerk at CADAS Rehabilitation Facility and left this life as a cherished employee at SEI Healthcare where she provided caregiver services.
“Faye” was a phenomenal woman, a devoted daughter, a loving mother, a rambunctious grandmother, and the sweetest sister one could ask for. Although she was short in stature, her personality was gigantic, and she was always known as “The Life of the Party”. She had a smile that was brighter than the warmest sunshine and it was her beautiful smile that brought warmth to all who were blessed by her presence. She overcame many trials and tribulations in her life to become the proud mother that she was. She loved her sons, grandchildren, and family fervently and was always available to lend a helping hand. She was a devoted caregiver to her mother and continued to care for others with a passion and embraced everyone she encountered. She never met a stranger and considered everyone family and friends.
“Faye” leaves to cherish her precious memories, 2 sons Jonte’ M. (Jessica) Gaines and Terrence L. Neal; uncles, Raymond N. Lattimore and Frank (Willie Ella) Swopes; sister, Angela G. Lattimore and Brother William P. Lattimore; grandchildren, Stella Gaines, Bellamay Gaines, Zairia Neal, Terrence Neal Jr, Naomi Witherow and Nyla Witherow; her devoted sister/cousins Denise “Cookie” Lattimore, Katherine Russell, Stephanie Fletcher, Lisa Lake, Karen Fletcher, and Tracey (Pierre) Lattimore Anderson; her Goddaughter, Nania Taylor and her best friends for life Cheryl Smith and Grace Rivers. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will always remember her dearly.
Public viewing will be from 9 – 11 AM Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held privately. Interment: Highland Memorial Gardens
