Allen Davis Reynolds, 63, of Chattanooga was called home to be with the Lord and Savior on Monday, December 7, 2020. Allen was born January 16, 1957 in Chattanooga. He was the son of the late Charlie Reynolds and Ida Mae (Davis) Davis. He was preceded in death by his four older brothers, Joe, Henry, Charles and Ernest Davis and his younger brother, Albert Davis Reynolds; son, John Reynolds.

Early in life, Allen was baptized at Westside Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Calvin Donaldson Elementary School, Alton Park Junior High School and Howard High School. He graduated from Howard High School in 1975. He also attended Tennessee State University and became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. He later joined the U.S. Army where he served for 24 years. During his military career, he became a 32nd Degree Mason. Allen retired from the military in 2010. Afterward, many of his joys in life included traveling, taking cruises, exercising, and line dancing.

Allen leaves to cherish his memories and love, his wife, Mona Reynolds; daughter, LaShelle Reynolds; grandchildren, Kemore Hill, and Errian Hill of Fort Worth, Texas; Brianna Grizzell of Knoxville Tn; stepson, Eric Lay of Knoxville Tn; two brothers, James Davis of New York, New York and Fred (Judith) Davis of Hamden Connecticut; two sisters, Rev. Mildred D. (James) Middlebrooks of Lyndhurst, VA and Nancy M. Drake of Chattanooga; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ethelyn Moore, Sheila (Bryan) McClendon, Harold and Ella Lay; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be from 9:00 am - 11:00 am Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the funeral home. A private family service will be held. Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery.
